The opportunity

As a member of Strategy & Transactionsteam, you'll participate in due diligence, valuation and business modelling, and lead advisory (M&A and debt raising) engagements related to transactions involving private equity/ financial investor groups as well as strategic corporate clients. You'll help EY's clients to plan and execute mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, restructuring, debt and equity sourcing.

Your key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, perform due diligence and valuation projects, prepare reports, make presentations and communicate directly with clients
• Develop knowledge in business and finance by collecting and summarizing data through direct contacts with subject companies’ operational management and accountants, as well as holding relevant communication with top management
• Plan, manage and perform industry and company research utilizing various tools and publicly available information
• Develop an understanding of EY's technical methods as well as basic required principles and standards
• Delegate tasks and coordinate more junior team members
• Build the strong working relationships with clients’ personnel and team members, other EY teams

Skills and attributes for success

To engage in meaningful discussions with current and potential clients, you should be an active and visible person at the transactions, valuations and business modelling markets. Excellent analytical thinking, project management, communication, organizational, teamwork and interpersonal skills would be great assets and help you to succeed.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• 2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, due diligence, valuations or other areas related to corporate transactions or investment decision making
• University degree in Economics / Finance & Accounting or related area
• Experience in project management activities
• Understanding of business processes and Lithuanian/ European general business environment
• Capabilities of report writing and drawing conclusions based on analysis performed
• Fluent/high level spoken and written Lithuanian and English
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office programs

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Russian language would be an advantage
• CFA, ACCA, certified appraiser or similar relevant qualification would be an advantage
• Experience in delegating

Salary: 2200-3000 EUR gross
