You will be responsible for empowering a diverse professional team of 4-6 accountants who service Global WU business. You will be accountable for the regular monthly routine processes and controls: journal entries revision, trial balance analytical review, exceptions resolutions, preparation of managerial financial reports, etc. Also, you will support Management with different analytical assignments, engage with International project teams on various accounting and business initiatives, cooperate with auditors, partner with business while launching new products to market, induce the automation initiatives to increase the efficiency of accounting processes. The Lean spirit and energy to fit for growth are the traits that we are looking for in the candidate for this position.
For this role, we require you to have a degree in Finance, Economics or a similar field and have 4-6 years of experience in accounting. You'll have a good understanding of what impacts financial statements and understand how it links with accounting, tax, treasury, and other parts of business. We need you to have a blend of being analytically minded as well as customer focused. If you have the desire and ability to take a strong leadership role and can influence actions to create real change then this could be the perfect role. Previous experience with Lean methodology would be an advantage.

Annual base salary gross: 20,786 – 38,514 EUR
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
