We are looking for a Situation Manager to undertake crisis management in connection with major incidents in Group IT and disasters in the following fields: Group IT, People & Premises and Finance. You will be part of Situation Management in IT Operations.

As a Situation Manager, you will help drive the major incident process and manage a crisis from the moment a fault has been detected until it has been worked around or rectified.

You will employ your natural authority and powers of persuasion to get diverse parties to work together to achieve a common goal and maintain contact to our COO, Group IT and IT Operation management, the development organisation and external providers both day-to-day and in crisis situations.

Moreover, you will be expected to further develop Situation Management as a function and through your professional expertise and inspiration become a strong team player in our day-to-day work.

Our working environment at Situation Management is informal and good-humoured.

You will take shifts in a 24/7/365 on-call scheme.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority of the role.

Skills

• Previous experience in project management or managerial roles with a focus on IT operations
• Higher education
• Excellent English language skills (spoken and written)
• Experience/knowledge in ITIL processes and ITIL Foundation certificate
• Good technical understanding of IT environments and capability of taking a leadership role in all situations
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time and maintain a sharp focus while keeping a cool head in high-pressure situations
• Open, outgoing and self-motivated team player with great communication skills
• Analytical and results-driven approach with the ability to take responsibility and negotiate
• An ITIL Lifecycle Service Operation (SO), ITIL Capability Operational Support and Analysis (OSA) or experience of the Kepner Tregoe method (would be an advantage)

Mission

• Ensure maximum uptime for Danske Bank’s IT services and customer-facing solutions by reacting promptly and correctly to any IT breakdowns
• Actively involve in crisis management as part of our Group Disaster Management team working with the Group Disaster Manager
• Head task forces and other ad hoc initiatives that are typically executed across the organisation at the request of Group IT management
• Participate in the further development of a world-class situation management function, both operationally and strategically
