For this inspiring journey, we invite a DevOps engineer to join the monitoring & automation squad – a fully cross-functional team having Test Automation specialists, DevOps, SRE, Mainframe, Business specialists onboarded.
Tribe monitoring & automation squad mission is to Enable feature Teams in Retail Investment Tribe to be effective and efficient in you build it – you run it model.
So what does enabling mean in our context?
- We are engineering secure and reliable environments, automation, observability services, self-services, processes, and practices for the Tribe so that feature teams could do their best for the customers.
- We are building test automation frameworks and continuously supporting feature teams in test automation activities.
- We are sharing knowledge and teaching feature teams how to do DevOps, Test Automation, and Operations efficiently.
Tech Stack: We are working with: Internal Danske Bank Cloud, Docker, Openshift, Git, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Chef, Ansible, etc.
Skills
A bit about you and your background:
- We expect that your passion and primary area of interest at work is within the world of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering.
- Writing code and scripting is your preferred way to build and operate systems (Infrastructure, pipelines, monitoring, etc. ).
- You are self-driven and have solid experience in platform engineering or software development positions.
- You have hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
- You have experience with any cloud platforms e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or other clouds.
- You have a good understanding of software development practices.
- You are an innovative and creative problem solver with a can-do attitude.
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Mission
You will be working closely with experienced DevOps engineers, Developers, and Tribe Architects to build and maintain a solid future-proof technical foundation and DevSecOps practices in Retail Investment Tribe.
To be more precise, your responsibilities will include:
- Together with teammates, design, build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns in our Infrastructure and development value stream.
- Drive security initiatives to ensure our systems are robust, auditable, and resistant to external and internal threats of all types.
- Drive adoption of mature observability service implementation (Logging/Alerting/Monitoring).
- Design, build and continuously improve our CAC, IAC, and CI/CD practices.
- Continuously teach feature squads how to do CAC, IAC, CICD, and LAM (Logging/Alerting/Monitoring) in the right way.
