Senior Project Manager, BioPharma mRNA Product Portfolio

• Develop and assertively drive mRNA portfolio product customization programs, manage timelines and budgets in coordination with other departments/teams.
• Responsible for all aspects of custom product development from Concept, to Product Launch and completing with Project Closure.
• Act as project champion, manage team to execute all project deliverables; lead cross-functional core team.
• Coordinate, synchronize and manage overall project schedule. Accountable for execution on project timelines.
• Use Project Management best practices to manage projects, effectively initiating, planning and controlling.
• Manage a project budget; track actual versus plan and resolve issues as they arise.
• Responsible for planning resource requirements and negotiating Core Team resources with functional managers; assist Core Team Members in negotiating extended team staffing.
• Facilitate identification and mitigation of program risks.
• Review team progress against requirements and plans; resolve deviations.
• Assist Core Team Members in resolving extended team and functional issues.
• Communicate custom project status updates to external customers and manage project related external customer expectations.
• Contribute to performance evaluation of Core Team.

• Identify appropriate resources needed and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
• Regularly track and communicate project status to all stakeholders.
• Schedule and facilitate all necessary meetings associated with Nucleic Acid Therapeutics mRNA portfolio related product development, customization, scale up and technology transfer projects.
• Assess, communicate and manage risks both internally as well as externally with customers.
• Conduct constructive lessons-learned analysis of completed projects.
• Work with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing Development, Regulatory, Customer Service, Quality, Logistics, Planning, Manufacturing and Business Development to insure successful project completion and product launch.
• Solve problems and manage crises effectively and independently.

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.), preferred in the Life Sciences.
• Extensive experience of combined product development and project management experience, of which a portion preferred in the life sciences.
• PMP certification preferred.
