Better requires process discipline and simplification

The Senior Information Security analyst receives, researches, triages, and documents all security events and alerts as they are received. This individual supports multiple security-related platforms and technologies, interfacing with others within the IT organization, as well as with other internal business units and external customers/partners. Events will be generated from endpoints, networks, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, threat intelligence platforms, employees, third parties and other sources.

While working with best-of-the-breed security systems/tools and going through a lot of training, you will improve your cyber security skills and knowledge daily.

Requirements for this role:

• Education degree in computing or information systems or equivalent experience

• A genuine interest in cybersecurity and understanding of general information security principles

• Networking fundamentals and good knowledge of Windows systems

• Solid understanding of various attack vectors commonly employed by hackers

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and stress resistance capability

• Be willing to work 10 to 12-hour daytime shifts in a 24x7 SOC environment

The Annual gross base salary range is 24,093 – 47,007 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high ends of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
