The Role / Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Moody’s Talent Partner team to provide HR support to several business lines with a focus on the rapidly expanding Moody’s Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Solutions group, including the HR integration of affiliated businesses. You will support the Talent Partner in implementing human resources programs, processes and services for a new, evolving and fast-paced business, including change management, talent management and HR process integration.

  • Supports the implementation of change management and organizational design and development initiatives
  • Provides counsel and guidance to managers regarding company policies and procedures
  • Supporting the integration of affiliates by managing temporary manual HR administrative processes and towards their alignment with and integration into Moody’s
  • Contributes to specific projects as determined by HR management including project management support and functional and cross-functional initiatives. May own small projects independently
  • With management oversight provides human resources consultation, services and support to business units, contributing to the creation of programs that drive higher levels of employee performance and engagement
  • Assist with the implementation of standardized HR process
  • Participate in talent management practices including reporting on trends and other HR metrics
  • Assist senior Talent Partner in the coaching, counseling, and providing guidance to managers on initial performance management issues and loops the regional HR business partner and employee relations team in as appropriate
  • Build strong and trusted relationships and collaborate closely with the HR colleagues in the regional teams and HR centers of excellence functions, such as total reward and talent acquisition
  • Provide support to other business lines and HR projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a generalist human resource function, preferably in an international environment
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills. French language skills are a plus
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and maintain highest standards of confidentiality handling sensitive information
  • Outstanding organization skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Performs a wide variety of tasks with a degree of creativity and latitude
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
