Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to join our team as the Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this role, you will contribute to INTUS WINDOWS by supporting our internal and external customers with a variety of accounting functions, including invoicing, payment application and research, and account reconciliation. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

 Preparing and sending invoices, including G702 & 703 forms to the Customers
 Collecting outstanding receivables and posting payments
 Active participation on preparing weekly AR projection on responsible customers’ accounts
 Preparing SOVs (schedule of values)
 Project based COI requests processing
 Review and assessment of Credit applications
 Filling pre-qualification forms
 Preparing Lien waivers based on the different state’s requirements
 Performing monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable to the general ledger and review aging
 Monthly reconciliation and verification of AR, Revenue, Customer Prepayment accounts
 Research customer account inquiries and determine corrective actions for resolution
 Assist with annual audit functions and prepare A/R confirmation letters
 Monitor Allowance for Bad Debt accounts and make write-off recommendations to A&F management
 Recommend AR system revisions and procedural changes
 Other job-related duties, to support finance and accounting department

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
Understanding the accrual accounting (GAAP and IFRS)
Experience and understanding accounting software
1-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience working for international companies is a plus
