The role provides assistance to the Regulatory Compliance Office in ensuring that the Consumer Protection Compliance Program in the region operates effectively and is aligned with overall regulatory requirements and Western Union's strategy. In this role, you will be a contact person for "business as usual" activities on the team in relation to complaints and error management oversight. You will ensure that all regulatory reports related to complaints are prepared and submitted in a timely and efficient manner within the deadlines set by the Regulators. You will prepare Consumer Protection Compliance materials for the committees of multiple entities in the region. In addition, you will provide ongoing support to the manager in setting up priorities, strategic planning, and investigating issues for the Consumer Protection Compliance Program in the region. You will be a contact person for any Consumer Protection Compliance internal testing or internal audits and provide support to the management in relation to any external audits/regulatory requests.

For such a crucial role, you will need to have a knowledge of Consumer Protection Compliance obligations and regulatory developments. Strong analytical skills are essential.  You have to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Also, you must have great fluency in English (verbal and written). You will ideally be educated to bachelor's level and set high personal standards for goals and objectives. You must have the ability to work independently while recognizing your own limitations and seeking the advice of subject-matter experts as required.

Annual base salary gross: 25 057 – 48 887 EUR

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
