About the role:
We are looking for a Testing Engineer who will contribute to the testing of various nanosats and subsystems. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for the hardware testing before the product’s release. As we say… One mistake, and you have a brick in space. Not scared? Let’s rocket quality standards to the sky (literally).
As Testing Engineer you will:
- High quality and timely test cases design and execution
- Contributing to the development and improvement of the testing processes and strategy
- Understanding of satellite subsystems hardware and software functionalities. Being able to consult colleagues
- Hands-on testing of satellite hardware
- Quality parameters recording
- Identifying, analyzing, and reporting errors to the development teams
We expect you to:
- Basic electronics knowledge
- At least 1 year of experience working with manual or automated testing
- Ability to see the bigger picture and navigate towards it
- Result-oriented and proactive attitude, willingness to perform daily hands-on activities
- Ability to act and adapt in a fast-changing environment
- Good English language knowledge (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and escalate challenges if needed
It would be an advantage if you:
- Have experience in manual and automated testing processes and test tools
- Bug-intolerant, able to predict possible bugs
- Have knowledge of how to work with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence/etc.)
- Have programming knowledge (C++, C, C#, Python)
