The Role / Responsibilities

Involuntary Terminations/Reorgs/CTPs

  • Draft CTP agreements, attachments and prepare packages with direction from HRBP/ER/legal
  • Send termination emails to the appropriate groups: InfoRisk, Security, HR Connect, Payroll, Accounting, and Benefits
  • Vet with compensation/benefits/compliance any equity, claims or retirement related concerns prior to termination
  • Handle the benefits/ payroll related follow up with previous employees
  • Provide contact information for impacted population to Outplacement provider if applicable
    In partnership with the ER team serve as point of contact for any follow-up question from terminated employee
    Execute severance agreements with benefits/comp/ payroll and terminated employees
  • Function as project manager for RIFS/Reorgs:
  • Maintain master list by tracking all changes (headcount, impacted population, etc.), providing weekly updates, and a final update on the day prior to the event to internal team and external counsel
  • Coordinate logistics for the action, which could include:
  • Reserving meeting rooms/ Coordinating with Security for in person activity
  • Review and approve list of all agreements processed each month to Accounting for reconciliation
  • Participate in quarterly calls with Accounting to ensure all accruals have been captured and to provide update on any outstanding agreements that have not been signed
  • Process unemployment claims on ADP; solicit guidance from Legal if needed

Management of Inventory and Updating HR policies

  • Coordination with the branding team for all policy updates
  • Assist with conducting annual policy review with SME’s
  • Function as gate keeper for policy updates
  • Ensure appropriate approvals have been met
  • Provide support to ER team members on investigations for data requests from various HR teams

    ER casework System
  • Management of the ER casework system and main point of contact for data entry
  • Provide meaningful metrics to ER Leads, Legal, HR Partners and relevant stakeholders

    General:
  • Provide excellent customer service and inspires confidence through effective communication, expert knowledge, and efficient escalation to resolve issues
  • Provide accurate and efficient resolutions of issues and inquiries through multiple channels (e.g., phone, email) by following appropriate resolution/assessment methodologies (e.g., investigating and research), utilizing knowledge management tools, educating customers on HR technologies and self-service tools and determining appropriate course of action or escalation for emerging issues Accurately log all service requests; monitor and follow up on all cases to ensure prompt resolution on behalf of employees and managers
  • Consistently utilize knowledge management tools and contribute new or updated information to maintain an accurate and consistent knowledge base in support of customers and peers
  • Provide excellent customer service and inspires confidence through effective communication, expert knowledge, and efficient escalation to resolve issues
  • Communicate effectively (written and verbal) matching customer style, needs, and level of understanding to support optimal customer interaction, including accurate and grammatically correct support for available customer support channels (phone, email, case management)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • At least 1 year of Call Center experience
  • Customer service focused
  • Fluent in English language spoken and written required. A plus if fluent in German, French, Flemish
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Experienced in processing workflow, transactions and data changes using HRMS and/or Applicant Tracking System
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or other case management systems a plus
