As a scientist within GTS (Genetic testing Solutions) R&D team in Vilnius you will work with international teams of manufacturing, engineering, quality & product management and will develop, commercialize and support qPCR and molecular biology products.

What will you do:
• Develop new qPCR and RT-qPCR products for scientific and diagnostic applications.
• Transfer newly developed products from R&D to manufacturing.
• Work with operations team to ensure timely product delivery to customers
• Investigate customer complaints.
• Improve existing products, processes and technologies.

• BSc, MS or PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering or related field.
• Good knowledge of molecular biology, qPCR.
• Experience with technical data analysis software and genome databases.
• Experience in planning and executing molecular biology experiments with minimal direction.

Attributes:
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of ISO 13845 and GMP standards is desirable
• The flexibility of evening schedule at least one day a week to take phone calls with US colleagues.
• Good writing and oral presentation skills.
• Fluent English.
