Lead Data Scientist at Genus AI
Lead Data Scientist at Genus AI will work closely with engineering and product teams to enable innovation and ML product development and deployment to our clients. We strive to understand our clients' business deeply in order to provide the most impactful machine learning solutions. We live Agile Data Science Manifesto values daily.
In this role you will:
- Research and develop innovative machine learning / computer vision based product ideas
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists. Provide technical leadership to the team and organization to drive innovation and company value in AI, ML, and statistical modeling
- Work with engineers and product managers to improve our platform.
Improve data science standards, tooling, and processes. - Utilize data visualization tools to deliver insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- You have 4-5 years of experience in a data science or ML engineering role
- You have experience in finding innovative machine learning based solutions for difficult problems
- You have experience in team leadership
- You have a proven track record of successfully managing complex Data Science projects
- You know Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and are comfortable with the notebook development environment (we use AWS Sagemaker)
- You have a good command of written and spoken English
- You can explain complex statistical / mathematical / CS concepts in basic language
