This is a greenfield project with lots of opportunities. As a QA Automation Engineer you will guide the design and implementation of our project’s testing strategy.

Quality in everything we do. We ensure quality with a range of tools and techniques. These include code reviews, peer programming, CI pipelines and tests. We write robust automated tests for every piece of code we craft using appropriate combinations of unit, integration, performance tests, etc. We release code using automated pipelines that support continuous delivery. We are always working to evolve these processes.

Promote product quality throughout all the SDLC stages including supporting continuous deployment by designing and implementing testing strategies and frameworks
Write, align and validate acceptance tests and scenarios for deliverables as well as coordinate and perform exploratory and regression testing where appropriate
Write and automate functional tests using DBT (SQL), Cypress (JS/TS), pytest (Python), Jest (JS/TS), K6, Postman
Write and automate various non-functional tests (e.g. scalability, performance, stress, soak, load tests)
Absorb domain knowledge with the help of local gurus
Participate as an active member of an agile Scrum team by refining and estimating user stories, planning sprints, daily stand-ups and retrospectives
Share ideas and contribute to automation efforts within the team and across Revel
Mentor and assist other developers on the team in creating automated tests
Communicate and pair program with other developers and QAs
Choose from a range of career paths including full stack engineering, quality assurance, or data engineering

Have proven knowledge in architecting and implementing test automation frameworks and models
Have hands-on test engineering experience ranging from manual to automated test tools 
Have knowledge of SQL, Data Types and data formatting
Have a good understanding of the SDLC process and its application with CI/CD tools
Have programming experience, preferably with SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript  or Python
Are well versed in testing large scale applications
Are fluent in English as we have colleagues from around the world
Are a holder of a relevant university degree or have test engineering work experience
Have a proactive approach allowing you to mitigate impediments and learn from our talented colleagues
