Better starts and ends with the customer

You will be fully trained to support our operations by investigating and analyzing existing business client accounts in order to make sure they meet all necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, legislation and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies. After gathering all required information about the client, you will decide whether to pursue or terminate the business relationship with them. You will work with higher complexity cases, provide support with escalated issues, assist your Team Leader with coordinating and supporting overall successful day-to-day team operations. You'll be involved in projects and initiatives to enhance, streamline and automate the existing processes and reduce the risk of errors where applicable. Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:

  • A high school degree is required, post-secondary education is preferred

  • 1 year (or more) of experience in Operations, Know Your Customer (KYC), Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or relevant field

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

  • The customer-focused mindset with willingness to innovate, in addition to strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Initiative and commitment to overcome obstacles and meet the end goal, targets

  • Flexible working approach, strong decision-making skills, and attention to details

  • The ability to work successfully in a self-motivated team environment

  • Ability to build good internal relationships

IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. The annual gross base salary range is 14,100 – 21,049 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
