We are looking for a new ambitious person with a drive to setup of the business controlling team in an international shared service center. NKT, a leading cable producer with Headquarters in Denmark, is seeking a SSC business controlling manager who is eager to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a global team.

What can you expect from the position?

You will be based in an international environment in a brand-new office in Kaunas. You will be strongly focused on supporting multiyear transformational projects. The role will at first be focusing on the creation of the new team and secure a good transition of tasks from local organization towards SSC. Once establish the aim will be to take stronger ownership of tasks and drive optimizations and automatization of activities. You will interact with all levels throughout the SSC as well as local finance (business lines) and group finance. A key priority is to focus on- and continue excellent support to the business, catering for a continued strong growth of NKT.

In this role you will:

• Lead and develop the business controlling teams in the Shared Service Center, assisting in bringing the processes and reporting to the next level in terms of efficiencies, speed and accuracy
• Drive activity optimization and standardization moving away from site based teams into functional teams
• Build a strong relationship with stakeholders as trusted business partner for the business lines and the group

Requirements

You should have Degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline, higher commercial certificate or similar and 5+ years of experience as a controller or analyst. 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role preferably from a Shared Services / international environment. International experience is preferable joining a global company.

• Fluent in English, written and oral
• A keen desire to develop and be continuously challenged status quo
• Excellent at stakeholder management
• Knowledge of SAP and SAP BW and reporting tools
