As a Compliance Officer, with the oversight of Head of Compliance and together with competent team of legal officers, you will have to ensure that Bankera is conducting its business in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations that pertain to fintech industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal company standards. You will work with management and staff to identify regulatory risk and to propose possible solutions.
You should find it interesting to:
- Draft compliance reports
- Perform and document compliance tests
- Challenge status quo and think out-of-the-box for ways to bridge the gap between legacy legal requirements and the modern needs of business
- Contribute to the development of plans to address non-compliances, identified during internal and external audits
- Together with the risk management unit assess the compliance risk of different products
- Prepare and oversee a map of company documents
- Advises colleagues on compliance issues
We would love you to have:
- Work experience in compliance field in financial institution
- University degree in Law
- Understanding of Lithuanian and European financial sector regulation
- Fluency in English
- Superior attention to detail in order to identify and correct risky practices
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies
- Strong time management and organizational skills and able to meet deadlines
- Should have a strong moral code and sense of ethics
