Job description:
- Manage contracted activities and overall operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and procedures. Continuously review and analyze operational information which concerns performance;
- Participate in the development of strategic plans;
- Select aircraft types and individual aircraft for operations by GetJet Airlines and coordinate processes and documentation required for issuance of the Certificate of Registration by CAA. Negotiate the terms of acquisition or lease of all aircraft to be operated by the airline;
- Ensure maintenance of all certifications held by GetJet Airlines;
- Negotiate terms and provide the facilities, workspace, equipment and supporting services required to support and satisfy airline operational safety, compliance and security requirements, negotiate the terms of the provision of maintenance support, airport facilities and services including ground handling and fuel supply;
- Establish necessary forms and documentation required for the carriage of passengers and cargo by air;
- Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with Air Operator Certificate. Initiate the Air Operator Certificate renewal application and notify CAA of any changes to the information reflected on the Air Operator Certificate;
- Ensure that staff is efficient and utilized in accordance to the airline procedures. Also ensure allocation of the necessary resources for operation departments to manage safety risks and security threats to GetJet Airlines operations;
- Cooperate with directors and managers work out proposals and take action in order to promote simplicity, efficiency and economy in the operations. Implementation and maintain SMS throughout the company.
Requirements:
- Higher education in aviation field (advantage);
- 5 years of management experience;
- Management experience within Flight Operations department (advantage);
- Excellent English language knowledge;
- Knowledge and understanding of flight safety and continuous airworthiness requirements set by aviation authorities.
