Job information

As a WPS On-site and VIP Service Analyst you will be a great contributor to on-site IT services and End User Services enabling the day to day productivity of company’s workforce through the provision of individual’s computing needs. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • The delivery and support of all our user facing computing requirements such as laptops, PCs, printers and mobile devices – enabling access to information services from office or remote locations. 

  • The provision of the software required to our computers and mobile devices.  

  • Technical support for all of our business sites to ensure all technology is operational.  

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within a desktop/second line support role with knowledge of incident resolution for mobile devices, PCs, Laptops, Printers and LAN equipment. 

  • Installation, configuration, support and usage of workstations (hardware and software 

  • Strong nowledge of Microsoft based operating system and Core Operating Environment (COE) applications – specifically: Windows7, 8.1, 10; Directory services, Active Directory and Group Policies.  

  • Knowledge of Google GSuite – specifically: Mail, Calendar, Chat, Contacts, Drive, Docs, Slides and Sheets.  

  • Understanding of desktop tooling (software deployment tooling, management and support tools – SCCM) 

  • Knowledge of Audio Visual technologies and associated equipment, TCP/IP, Citrix, Anti-virus solutions and LAN/WAN technologies.  

  • Knowledge of Software Asset Management in an enterprise environment. 

  • Analysis, diagnostic investigation and problem solving skills. 

  • Translating technical detail into normal business language - the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users

  • Mobile Device technology – demonstrable knowledge of Smart Phones: iPhones, Android, MDM

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will be capable of dealing with the pressures of a demanding professional services environment.  

  • We consider as a plus if you have ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate or experience of working in an ITIL compliant enterprise environment.
