Dexcom’s legal team is growing and we are looking for a motivated attorney to join our EMEA Legal Team to support our continued growth in the region. This role will report to our Director – EMEA Legal and will be positioned in Dexcom’s growing Vilnius, Lithuania office location. The candidate will work with a team of motivated and passionate attorneys and business partners across different offices in EMEA and coordinate daily with local business leaders to support our marketing, commercial and legal process initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advise EMEA business partners on marketing law compliance, strategic initiatives, commercial transactions and contracts, business development and reimbursement and market access.
• Participate in Legal department management, including operations, budgets and policies.
• Provide ongoing legal advice on laws, regulations and guidelines related to marketing, privacy, clinical research, medical affairs, business development and commercialization of products and services sold, marketed or distributed in EMEA markets.
• Provide counsel to business operations regarding the negotiation of commercial and marketing agreements.
• Advise on continuing process improvements and implementation of Dexcom’s compliance program initiatives and work closely with Dexcom’s compliance and regulatory teams to implement new regulatory frameworks and investigate and address compliance risks.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies when requested and assist in compliance reviews, audits and investigations.

Required Qualifications/Education:

• Fluent in English.
• Law degree.
• At least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in law firm and/or in house.
• Deep knowledge of EU healthcare compliance and advertising laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to manage outside counsel relationships.
• Experience drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Ability to effectively manage a variety of projects.
• Ability to independently create legal documents and work with tracked changes and version control in documents.
• Ability to manage and supervise company business constituencies.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent decision-making ability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and contract database systems.
