APIs are becoming the interstate highways of digitalisation. The development and consumption of these already impact our lives and they are a central piece in improving customer experience. We are looking for a skilled Product Owner who wants to have a leading role in designing and building state-of-the-art APIs to support Danske Bank’s transformation journey.
In the API Adoption & Architecture tribe, we aim to deliver world-class APIs that are simple, easy-to-use on a modern platform. Our Tribe is a part of Danske Bank’s Better Ways of Working strategy with offices in Denmark, Lithuania, and India. We are an agile team of IT professionals who work in an informal atmosphere where we value a flat hierarchy and open discussions.
As a Product Owner, you will be creating a product vision for the API, defining business value, developing roadmaps, and breaking work down into codable tasks together with your developer squad. At the same time, you will be dealing with multiple stakeholders across the bank.
You will:
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for delivering value. You will engage with stakeholders to collect and verify demand, and together with the team, break them down into the backlog and prioritize tasks. These will be your focus areas
- Deliver APIs on a modern platform that are simple and easy to use
- Communicate the vision, goal, and key results to stakeholders and squad
- Build a roadmap and prioritise the backlog
- Ensure that the squad delivers timely and support removing impediments
- Create a conducive and collaborative environment through effective leadership
- Effectively communicate and handle stakeholders
About you:
- Experience working with IT products, preferably with REST APIs and Events and Domain Driven Design (+3 years)
- Proven history of delivering value to consumers or customers
- Good at storytelling and stakeholder management skills
- Thrive in an international environment, have strong interpersonal skills, are good at leading the process, and can manage and lead groups of people and tasks simultaneously
- Have experience as a Product Owner and can lead a distributed development team
- Demonstrate that you have worked with agile methodologies
- Have a problem-solving mindset and analytical skills, as well as a very structured way of working
- Fluent in English
We offer
Monthly salary range from 3720 EUR to 5580 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
