Job description
Finance Business Partner is a key role in setting up finance and accounting structures and processes for the new Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Vilnius. This position is to be the strategic partner to the Head of SSC and is responsible for the SSC organization’s strategic planning and performance management from a financial as well as a non-financial perspective. These responsibilities include reporting the SSC financials, preparation of budgets, mid-/long-term plans, and forecasts as well as provision of analyses and reports to the Head of SSC and wider management, to support decision making. The SSC Finance Business Partner will collaborate closely with the Head of Service Delivery Management in tracking the SSC performance against respective SLAs and managing the recharge of costs (and planning thereof) and execution of the process established in the GBS organization.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up accounting and finance relevant structures and processes for the SSC in Vilnius
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and adherence to procedures and guidelines for the center
- Accountable for adherence to budgeting, planning and forecasting processes and timely submission of GBS budget, plans and forecasts
- Execute operational tracking of SSC performance against SLAs in close collaboration with GBS Service Managers
- Manage SSC recharging process end-to-end including consolidation of third-party invoices, charge-back planning, execution and monitoring
- Key point of contact within SSC organization for Tax, Treasury, Procurement and Group finance
- Support regular benchmarking activity to drive performance
- Prepare management reports for GBS and wider management to support decision-making
- Identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement within the SSC organization while mitigating financial and commercial risks
- Ensure close collaboration and alignment with corporate Finance in all activities
- Close collaboration and consultation with GBS leadership team
- Coordination of the response to the annual audit process for the Vilnius legal entity
- Coordination of the responses to support the audit of wider group entities who are supported by the GBS center in Vilnius
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or comparable
- Relevant experience in a similar role within international environment
- Experience in Business planning, Business Modelling and Scenario Planning
- Insight development and forecasting skills
- Understand company’s strategic goals and business priorities
- Very good understanding of SSC environment including processes and enabling technology
- Project and stakeholder management
- Full professional proficiency in written and oral English. Proficiency in an additional European language, especially of the respective countries, could be seen as an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills, with the ability and confidence to operate at senior levels with company stakeholders
- Ability to challenge with solutions, proactive and driving
