About Project

The goal of the project is to provide the match results that customers rely on to identify the best cellular therapy for their patients.

As a QA Automation Engineer you will

• works closely with IT Project teams, Business Partners, and Operations Partners to assist the project team in identifying, evaluating and prioritizing Regression Review and analyze the automation implementation to identify the possibility of reoccurrence of program operating problems and to ensure operational efficiency
• complete feature impact analysis & analyzes complex applications to design, build and implement test scripts
• design the various test types (Functional, Smoke, Regression) for automation and maintains the application’s Automation Framework (core library design and files)
• writes various types of test scripts:
o Web Services & applications
o Database connection and validation of GUI values
o File handling
o XML/JSON parsing
• ensure automated test scripts are organized and maintained
• track and report the results of automation testing
• proactively participate in Sprint activities, identify and report on problems, risks, issues and barriers to testing & delivery
• assist the project team in identifying, evaluating and prioritizing Regression test scripts for automation potential
• develop utility programs as needed to create new or modify existing procedures
• analyze, learn and install new automation testing tools and/or methodologies while researching the changing marketplace to keep current with technology and upgrades.
• identify different scenarios & methods in creating test cases
• refactor or implement code to have more usability & eliminate redundancy

We expect you

• have advanced knowledge of quality assurance (integration, system, regression and user acceptance) principles and best practices
• have advanced knowledge of software development methodologies
• have working knowledge of programming languages, software procedures, applications, and products and QA tools
• have hands on experience with service-oriented architecture; object relational mapping frameworks; Java Automation Test Framework
• have coding Standards for JAVA or any programming language
• have experience using automated tools and source configuration tools (GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Docker)
• have experience with technology eco-system that supports end-to-end micro service architecture, such as, APIs, message queue, container and etc.
• have experience with agile tools including Atlassian Suite (Jira, X-ray, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket); GitLab; Selenium; TestNG; Oracle SQL Developer
• have hands-on knowledge of:
o Spring boot application development
o Running unix or shell scripts
o Kibana log viewer(Optional)
o Experience in using Postman tool for API testing
• have experience with measuring Quality Assurance effectiveness.
• Have experience building and fostering an environment for Quality Assurance to succeed within the team and within areas outside the team
• have experience utilizing test automation and performance testing with an understanding for the appropriateness of automation in framing a TQM solution
• have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to converse with executive management as needed
• have ability to work with cross-functional/matrixed teams to deliver quality at the highest level.
