Accountant in Countries Accounting Unit at SEB in Vilnius

What you will be doing:
Have you ever considered yourself being an insider of a huge international accounting community? If so, we are excited to share that we are looking for an Accountant to join our Countries accounting team at SEB Global Services in Vilnius. You will work with Investment Management AB fund accounting subsidiary and in close cooperation with our talented and experienced team members to ensure accurate output, which meets our quality standards.

• Month-end closing procedures and daily general accounting and bookkeeping tasks;
• G/L accounts reconciliation;
• Month-end controls package preparation;
• Preparation of financial data to be reported to the group reporting system;
• Communication with other SEB group units and stakeholders;
• Work together with the team on continuous process improvements.

• Experience in accounting, audit or financial reporting;
• Knowledge how Debit/Credit works;
• Positive and proactive mindset;
• Willingness to learn new things;
• Excellent in English Up for a challenge and ready to suggest new ideas;
• Interest in the changes of International Financial Reporting Standards or experience in annual reports preparation would be a big advantage.
