You will be a part of our highly motivated team of credit risk specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit information, working within established guidelines. You will manage and have a credit responsibility for a portfolio of business partners in Europe. You will have a heavy emphasis on financial and data analysis. Assess creditworthiness of prospects and partners, perform financial analysis of business partners, assign risk ratings, analyze risk exposure and losses. You will analyze and obtain data from multiple sources. As part of portfolio management, you'll monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and risk exposure of business partners and contact them as necessary to obtain payment and financial information.
In this position, it's essential for you to have a university degree in Finance or Economics or an equivalent. You will have a background in financial analysis and credit risk management disciplines, preferably in a financial service company. Familiarity with the principles of financial reporting and the basics of contract law. You will have the ability to conduct decision-useful financial analysis with a custom write-up based on limited information as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, basics of accounting systems and databases. Fluency in English is expected, any other European language will be a plus. In this position, you need to be assertive, have advanced problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, multitasking skills and be driven to succeed. In order to fit into this high-achieving team, you need to be motivated and self-sufficient. If you also have previous accounting, finance, credit risk management or collections work experience that would be ideal.

The annual gross base salary range is 15,510 – 25,148 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
