Better requires process discipline and simplification
In this role we will be asking you to:
• Manage a team of direct reports who ensure that Western Union agents maintain an effective AML program which aligns with the regulations and our robust procedures to keep our customers protected.
• Oversee the daily operations and timely completion of objectives while motivating the team.
• Analyze program outcomes with compliance stakeholders and with functional leadership team, provide recommendations for global/regional program improvements.
• Escalate compliance-related risks, implement and develop processes and procedures in collaboration with Global and local compliance stakeholders.
• Support achieving functional goals by conducting reviews and training our Agents.

For this role, we require you to have:
• Equivalent experience and a proven track record in people management in order to effectively manage, mentor, develop and motivate supervised team.
• Knowledge or experience in Compliance from either financial service or payments background, project management, and change implementation experience will be an advantage to understand global and regional Money Services Business regulatory requirements, the Bank Secrecy Act, and their effect on our business.
• Good data analysis and reporting skills.
• Previous experience of lean working methodologies will also be considered as an advantage.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Flexibility to travel up to 25% is a must for this role.
• German language knowledge would be an advantage.

The annual gross base salary range is 28,815 – 49,254 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
