Every year, Western Union receives thousands of subpoenas and other compulsory requests (collectively, "subpoenas") for transaction data and other information.  The timely and accurate fulfillment of subpoenas is one of our many legal obligations. Put your skills to use in the battle against money laundering by joining the LEOI subpoena fulfillment team. You will need strong collaborative qualities and be able to demonstrate powerful analytical and problem-solving capabilities. You must be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and work well under pressure.

You'll review all incoming requests and ensure they are compliant with our policies. You will search Western Union's transaction records for responsive information.  You will interact with law enforcement agencies and government entities and assist with LEOI Operations functional tasks.  Key to meeting these requirements is your ability to use a wide variety of research tools, systems, and criteria.  Familiarity with the internet, public database searches, background investigations, judicial process, and law enforcement operations is preferred.  This position requires making independent decisions, working with a high level of autonomy, and the ability to escalate risks when appropriate.

In this position we require:

- Fluency in both written and spoken English language;

- Preferably you have at least one year of experience in legal/analytical/financial research, or general risk-based compliance and possess a strong investigative instinct;

- Working knowledge of MS Office, as well as strong online research skills;

- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, computer science, finance, data science, information systems, social sciences, or a related discipline would make you stand out.

The annual gross base salary range is 14,100 – 20,796 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
