Network Connectivity department is a mature organization that has many skilled and open-minded people who have built and mastered next-generation technologies which allow running software-defined private cloud environment where new virtual machine, firewall rules ordering, or Load balancing services are provided as a self-service and delivered in 5 minutes for every internal user. We think and do things by putting automation, reliability, and collaboration first and we are in the next evolution phase to go to hybrid and multi-cloud setup to leverage the best of bread services available in the market.
We are looking for a new passionate team member who has significant experience in Networks, Data Center technologies, Security, and Automation principles as well as his knowledge in SRE principles. The current Network Services technology department is responsible for firewall, load-balancing, Data Center R&S, WAN, MAN, LAN, VPN, SD-WAN, DDOS protection, IaaS, PaaS, and multiple other private cloud-related technologies and more. As a Team Leader for Network Reliability and Optimization, you will be responsible not only for the Network domain but will maintain close collaboration with other Infrastructure teams and architects from development areas in order to make our services as much reliable as they can.
You will be located in Lithuania, but you will collaborate with colleagues from Denmark, Sweden, India on a daily basis.
You will:

- Ensure that we optimize and implement improvements to technology products or Monitoring/Troubleshooting tools to ensure continuous improvement of NT services.
- Explore and implement new ways of working that both empower our people and make them more effective
- Lead and ensure timely end-to-end delivery of new capabilities on respective platforms/technological areas
- Collaborate, guide, consult and facilitate technical discussions within the organization
- Live by and spread the automation-first approach and philosophy
- Actively promote the standards and best practices based programmability and inter-operability of their respective platforms/infrastructure components
About you:
- Higher education in Engineering, Software Development or equivalent experience.
- Technical network experience over 7+ years and 3+ years of leadership experience
- Expertise and experience in the domain of Networks, with broader infrastructure knowledge as well as insights into an application domain
- Knowledge of Agile software development principles and DevOps/SRE working principles
- Upper-Intermediate English language skills
- Good understanding of virtualization concepts (at least the connectivity aspect of it)
- Genuine enthusiasm for operational stability, risk and compliance as well as commercial management
- A focus on cadenced results as well as an ability to bring diverse thinking, solid discussions, crisps decisions, and implementation of decisions
- Ability to proactively seek and suggest improvements, take complex operational challenges with natural extra-mile deliveries
- You value teamwork, share and expand your knowledge and take failures as improvement opportunities
NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- Observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
- Certified in technical offerings that compose the service (LAN, WAN, WIFI, Remote Access, SDN, etc.)
- Multi-cloud environment design/implementation/troubleshooting (any of the following GCP, Azure, AWS)
We offer
Monthly salary range from 4560 EUR to 6840 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
