Chief Accountant/Accountant (0.5-1FTE)

Be responsible for Godel Technologies Lithuanian office accounting related tasks. Currently our office have 20 employees. We need an Chief Accountant / Accountant who will ensure timely delivery and be the main contact point for various accounting related questions.

Depending on work busyness, we would be looking for accountant for 0.5-1FTE. With ability to answer ad hoc questions and make ad hoc payments during the day.

Main job responsibilites:

• Work together with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions;
• Be the main accounting contact point in Lithuania;
• Be responsible for VAT and tax reporting-related tasks;
• Be responsible for processing bank statements and purchase invoices;
• Communications: with auditors, with SODRA, Invest Lithuania and etc.;
• Help out HR team with accounting related consultation
• Preparing and providing accounting, tax and financial reporting in accordance with both Lithuanian standards and IFRS;
• Coordinating reporting procedures and proper closing of periods, preparation of accounts for consolidation (BS,P&L)
• Regular bookkeeping (relating to purchase, sell, operation expenses etc.);
• Planning and managing cash flows; 
• Payroll calculation. Calculation of sick leave, vacation leave;
• Preparation of personnel documents (orders for admission, dismissal of employees, time sheets, staff list; contracts);
• Migration documents for non-resident employees;
• Preparation and execution of the current documentation for all company’s operations.
