WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Build and improve our APIs so that they are as scalable, performant, intuitive as they can be
- Own the architecture and development of system components to improve monitoring, alerting and stability with compliance, with security in mind
- Maintain and improve software
- Have a high degree of autonomy
- Work with people and teams who have a getting thing done attitude
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years (or above) experience in the back-end development with node.js ideally for large-scale production systems
- Strong foundation in API design, distributed system design, and backend implementation
- Have experience in containerisation technologies. Ex: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.
- Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- AWS cloud environment
- Terraform, AWS, CI/CD pipelines
SKILLS
- Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality
- Motivation to write code which is well-tested and well-documented
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A strong call to action and for getting things done
