Role Summary:

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist has 3 key responsibilities:

  1. Administering, supporting and communicating the company’s benefits programmes with regards to plan options, policy features, enrollments and other requirements.
  2. Performing staff support activities to develop, implement and administer compensation policies and programs.
  3. Administer, develop, and support the companies Wellness Initiative and associated programmes.

The ability, motivation, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities is essential in this position. This position also requires a considerable level of initiative and significant attention to detail.

Benefits:

  • Support the Total Rewards Manager with administering and developing employee benefits programs and vendor relationships across EMEA.
  • Manage the new hire process, including registration of benefits and associated administration.
  • Manage the termination of benefits and changes to employee details as and when applicable.
  • Manage all benefits billing including cost projections, monthly invoice reconciliation and audit functions. Liaising regularly with Accounts Payable team.
  • Serves as a point of contact for all internal and external benefit queries and troubleshooting issues across EMEA, including managing the EMEA Benefits Email inbox.
  • Create, support, and develop procedural documents and policies regarding the registration, termination, and changes of all employee benefits.
  • Create and manage benefits renewals calendar.
  • Help to manage, develop, and update the intranet with regards to Employee Benefits documentation, ensuring all resources are up to date.
  • Create, develop, and deliver Employee Benefits presentations and communications.
  • Support the development of global benefits programs.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including Regional HR, Global total rewards, Country Managers and Functional Leads.

Compensation:

  • Support the Total Reward Manager with administering and developing compensation structures and policies within EMEA.
  • Facilitate, analyse and interpret external benchmarking and research in order to build in-country data.
  • Help to maintain EMEA job and salary structures.
  • Support the mid-year and annual performance review and compensation process.
  • Develop, and maintain various dashboards and spreadsheets to be able to manage and analyse employee compensation.
  • Serves as a point of contact for all internal and external compensation queries and troubleshooting issues across EMEA.
  • Create, support, and develop procedural documents and policies regarding various compensation processes and programmes.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including Regional HR, Global total rewards, Country Managers and Functional Leads.
  • Facilitate compensation and benefits survey participation and analysis.
  • Research current compensation trends and regulatory/legislation requirements and recommend programmes and changes to the compensation team.

Wellness:

  • Support and develop the companies Wellness Initiative including acting as a Wellness Ambassador.
  • Support the local implementation and management of global wellness strategy and programs.
  • Help to manage, develop and update the Intranet with regards to Employee Wellness resources.
  • Help to manage, develop and update “Inspire Wellness” Yammer Hub and SharePoint with regards to Employee Wellness resources.

About you:

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. The successful candidate will have:

  • Related business Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of solid Compensation and Benefits experience required or at least 6 years without a related Degree.
  • C&B experience in various European countries is essential.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English. German, French, Spanish or Lithuanian language skills would also be a huge benefit.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance contracts as well as write routine reports.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers or employees of organization.
  • A passion, interest, or experience of working within the healthcare industry would be a huge asset.
  • A passion and interest in the importance of employee wellbeing is essential.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (as well as full proficiency in all MS Office).
  • Experience of SharePoint, OneDrive and Yammer would be highly desirable.
  • Experience of Success Factors HCMS system would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to use discretion and produce highly accurate work.
  • Well-organized and confident to work independently but will be a strong team player.
  • Strong business acumen and high level of professionalism and judgement.
  • Knowledge and experience with Radford, WTW, Mercer or other market survey data.
