Offices: Riga, Tallinn, Malta. Vilnius opening Q2 2022.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

We are looking for a dynamic and team-orientated Crew Planning Team Lead to join our growing Crew Planning Department. You will be overseeing all the planning processes for SmartLynx Airlines Flight Crew Members.

  • In this role, your duties will include task distribution and monitoring among the Crew Planning team to ensure daily targets are met, oversee duties of Long-term and Middle term planning;
  • You will lead complex tasks addressed to the Crew Planning team;
  • Provide support analysis related to crew staffing and prepare overview reports;
  • You will develop research schedules to react to various operational changes;
  • You will be evaluating the Crew Planning performance and identifying areas of improvement.

  • To ensure success as a Crew Planning Team lead, you should have excellent leadership skills, as well as the ability to identify problems and solve them quickly and efficiently;
  • You have a strong working knowledge of management best practices and the ability to motivate and provide support to the team;
  • You are able to see a broader picture of how your team’s performance affects the business and make informed decisions;
  • You have the ability to think from first principles and work well cross-functionally, including with other departments;
  • You have good planning skills that go along with proper time management and flexibility;
  • You have solid communication and team working skills;
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills;
  • You have higher education or you are last year student;
  • You have strong analytical skills and strategic thinking;
  • You are proficient with MS Office programs, particularly Excel;
  • You have a good level of English language skills;
  • Previous experience in Airline Operations and/or future forecasting, data analysis will be considered as an advantage.
