What You Will Do:
- Be involved in designing and developing infrastructure solutions;
- Work on infrastructure arrangement, capacity planning, performance optimization;
- Troubleshoot issues and outages;
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models;
- Maintain internal documentation;
- Implement system security solutions;
- Make regular backups of system-critical data;
- Recover from disasters;
- Participate in the on-call rota.
What We Expect:
- Experience in Linux administration (preferably Debian based OSes);
- Experience with automation/configuration management (e.g. Ansible);
- Experience working with container systems (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker);
- Knowledge of various databases (e.g. MySQL, Elasticsearch);
- We highly value bonus knowledge of RabbitMQ, Prometheus, Kafka;
- Problem-solving skills: not giving up when there’s no clear solution and ability to dig to the root cause of the issue - someone who doesn’t give up;
- Ability to prioritize the most important work items.
