Join our team as a Translator!
We are looking for a high-energy language professional to join our newly established, centralized Customer Communication team and contribute to providing an exceptional experience to our customers. The ideal candidate embodies entrepreneurial spirit, human way of communication and customer centric mindset to challenge the existing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Localise customer communication messages and materials according to Luminor tone of voice into local language as well as translate from local language to English
- Manage and improve linguistic assets, such as the local style guide, glossary and TM (translation memory)
- Ensure high quality translations as per industry requirements
- Maintain and improve the quality of existing content
- Perform other tasks relevant to the role given by direct manager and/or functional manager
Skills and experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in local language
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English
- 1+ year experience in dealing with customer communication
- Translation experience, preferably in banking industry
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Good understanding of advertising, PR and digital media areas
- Experience in working with online translation software, CAT tools and translation management systems will be considered an advantage
- Higher degree preferably in Translation or related fields
- Flexibility, openness to change while having strong attention to detail
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Readiness to take ownership
