Senior Warehouse Manager

Elecnor S.A., as leading partner of joint venture with Inabensa (Abengoa), which specialize in executing transmission, concession and infrastructure projects all over the world. This joint venture has won one of the strategic projects of the national state-owned company “LTG Infra” for the coming years, valued at more than 350 million euros. This project completes the electrification of Corridor IX-B, which will allow the circulation of electric trains from the border with Belarus to the port of Klaipėda. This is one of the main axes for the movement of goods in the Baltic countries and a key strategic objective for the development of the railway sector in Lithuania. We are looking for Senior Warehouse Manager to join us and become a part of this significant long-term journey.

Requirements for candidates

• 8 years experience in Logistics or Construction or Railways
• Proved experience in warehouse managing
• Leadership skills
• Good skills of MS Office
• Analytical thinking
• Self-disciplined and motivated, with ability to work independently and in the team
• Result oriented
• Be able to work under stress and pressure
• English – business level, Russian - beneficial

Job content and responsibilities

• Managing team of warehouse’s managers of different departments and activities
• Ensure accurate receiving, picking, and shipping of stock
• Direct oversight and control of department
• Oversee warehouse management system to ensure on time delivery
• Minimize costs and increase efficiencies where possible
• Maintain results, analyze and assess performance and implement improvements
• Coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems, where necessary
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate including regular and annual stock take
• Ensure all health & safety standards are adhered to and positively followed
• Approve all Standard Operating Procedures for assigned area of responsibility
• Support to all functions within the department
• Reduce costs and provide high level of service
• Supervise, manage, and direct a team of one or more employees
• Manage, coach, and train members of the workforce
• Checking orders, maintaining the documentation in order
• Coordinating logistic and transport operations
• Ordering of consumables such as pallets, skids, materials, etc
• Providing feedback in relation to goods received in from containers
• Supporting with work rotas, assigning tasks appropriately and appraising results
• Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock is stored safely
• Establishing goals and objectives for self and team and implementing help accordingly to support job performance
• Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring all related procedures are implemented
• Receiving feedback and monitoring the quality of services provided
