Better requires process, discipline, and simplification

Here are some responsibilities you will have:

  • Work with the Internal Audit team to develop data testing approaches, highlight data analytics opportunities and drive efficiencies in testing from the use of data analytics;

  • Design and implement appropriate data analytic techniques, primarily using software tools (e.g., Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL, Python);

  • Identify and report key risk areas / data exceptions, and develop reporting that can be run and refreshed on a regular basis in line with the audit timelines;

  • Work as an effective team member by communicating relevant issues and follow through on issues encountered.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to help find answers to patterns, trends and outliers.;

  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to take conceptual ideas and develop detailed execution steps;

  • Well organized by summarizing details into succinct, executive-level reporting;

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and experience in use of dashboard / reporting software (e.g., Power-Bi, Tableau);

  • Operational knowledge of common hardware and software and/or programming, application or reporting development experience (involving SQL, Python, Excel, Alteryx) is preferred;

  • Communication skills to succinctly convey results identified from testing; 

  • Able to work independently with limited oversight yet communicates effectively upwards on a timely basis when required;

  • Professional, enthusiastic, proactive and results focused individual.

The annual gross base salary range is 18,299 – 26,952 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
