Front-End Developer (React)

As a Front-End Developer at PPMI, you will join an existing international team developing state-of-the-art digital products. Your primary task would be to assist the active development efforts an open-source classification tool OSDG, which makes it easy for academic communities and sustainable businesses to discover links between science, technology, public policy, and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). You would also contribute to the development efforts of Technote, a state-of-the-art technology data platform that delivers competitive intelligence at scale. 

Tasks:

• Be responsible for all front-end development lifecycle phases related to our digital products and their websites
• Develop multiple front-end (ReactJS) applications
• Provide internal technical support for developed products
• Participate in code reviews and work with our data team to improve internal standards.
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Front-end development using React
• Knowledge of modern React workflows and best practices
• Development experience with JavaScript (TypeScript or ES6+)
• Deep understanding of the ReactJS, Redux state container
• Expertise with CSS and SCSS
• Fluency in HTML, and related web technologies
• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities, knowledge of responsive design
• Ability to handle and oversee multiple tasks, plan, prioritize and make decisions
• Strong emphasis to details and accuracy
• Fluent communication in English, both written and verbal.
  

An advantage:

• Knowledge of frontend testing
• Being familiar with Node.js-based backend systems, especially Meteor.js.

Monthly salary (gross) from €2500 – €3000. Specific salary is offered based on work experience, competence, and compliance with other job requirements.
