PLC Commissioning Engineer

• You perform inspections of the electrical and mechanical installation at the customer's site, assuming all responsibilities autonomously
• In an automation environment and with HMI systems, you commission the bus systems and perform I/O checks
• Your responsibility includes the analysis of errors and their elimination as well as the configuration and commissioning of electrical components such as Barcode scanners, RFID readers and frequency converters
• You commission the entire system at the customer's site both, in your home country and abroad assuming all responsibilities autonomously
• You handle instructing and training of the operating and maintenance personnel at the end customer

• You have appropriate professional experience in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering or automation technology
• Preferably with proper qualification (technician)
• You have an excellent understanding of mechatronic systems
• Ideally, you have base knowledge of a development environment for automated systems (e.g. Beckhoff TwinCat)
• You enjoy systematic troubleshooting (and trouble resolution)
• You are resilient, flexible and have a confident appearance
• You have a high willingness to travel (65-80%)
• Must be efficient in German and English. Reading/writing and speech comprehension
