What You'll Bring:
- Experience and knowledge of Windows servers infrastructure (Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server)
- Familiar with Directory DHCP/ DNS servers and activities, Domain controller
- Experience and understanding of Network Connectivity and protocols with respect to the WINDOWS platform (TCP/IP, WINS, FTP, Telnet, LAN/WAN, etc.)
- Good working knowledge of Backup toolset (Commvault, Veeam)
- Experience and knowledge of Windows Server Patching
- Experience and knowledge of SCCM and SCOM tools
- Experience and knowledge of virtualisation solutions would be an advantage
- Powershell scripting skills would be an advantage
- Ability to analyse incidents to identify appropriate workarounds
- Good problem solving skills to identify root cause and permanent resolution
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Experience working in ITIL environment
- Fluent English language skills (written and verbal)
Impact You'll Make:
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing changes in response to user requests and project work
- Perform routine scheduled work, including operating system and application patch installation
- Operate and maintain the data backup schedule
- Hardware maintenance of server and storage devices in conjunction with 3rd party maintenance providers
- Provide 24*7 support in line with shift rota
The role:
- Investigating and resolving errors
- Initiation and ownership of changes through the Request for Change process
- Producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
