Job description
Ensuring the internal development team is happy with the infrastructure:
Responsibilities:
- 70/80 % DevOps part (help working with developers, automating (development life cycle and release automation)) and 20/30 % of SRE/Infrastructure management (Azure resources, security, daily checks, monitoring)
- Design, estimate, and code new features.
- Build and support cloud environments.
- Participation in software design discussions.
- Coordination with team leads/managers and tester(s) during development.
- Being on a passive support (24/7).
Requirements
- ~5 years of experience with Linux in corporate environment.
- Experience with cloud technologies: Azure, GCP or AWS.
- Development/Scripting skills: Python, Shell, Groovy or other.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Fluent English (verbal and writing).
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to haves:
- PostgreSQL server administration and/or high availability systems experience
- Jenkins, Bitbucket or any other CI/CD tools
- Automation oriented, security minded person with a habit to document knowledge.
- Communicative, open-minded, person, who is willing to promote discussion environment.
