Job description
The company VoiceHIT LLC is expanding their international team and is looking for a SYS Admin to join their team in Kaunas.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Daily system administration/maintenance support on Windows, Linux and UNIX-based environments in client/server, network and data storage capacities
- Assure a high level of reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management
- Convert and upgrade to new systems
- Maintain and grow your technical competence in multiple areas (such as Windows, Linux, virtualization, User Authentication, DNS, NFS, system imaging/build automation)
- Assist in developing the overall performance and capability of your technical team through mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Apply technical processes to solve complex problems
- Work within an Agile development process
- Coordinate with project work teams to ensure adherence to policies, achievement of quality targets and delivery on schedule milestones
Requirements
- Up to 4+ years plus experience administrating WINDOWS servers
- Knowledge of Fundamental TCP/IP concepts
- English Language B2
- Ability to work in a team and collaborating on problem resolution
- An individual that can communicate within the team and is motivated to learn in a new field
- Experience with data storage and data backup technologies
- Experience with Hyper-V
- SQL skills, general database administration
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with scripting/programming (PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with environment automation by following continuous integration and deployment standards
