Join our team as a Senior Business Analyst in Finance Regulatory Reporting Domain

We are looking for skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst who is an expert in Finance Regulatory Reporting. The Senior Business Analyst will be joining the Business Analysis Unit, which is responsible for the business analysis function within Data Organization in Luminor.

The Senior Business Analyst will be accountable and responsible for business and solution requirements elicitation, analysis, management, and maintenance in one or several areas listed:

  • EBA supervisory reporting (FINREP, COREP, LCR, AMM, NSFR),
  • EBA disclosure reporting (Pillar 3),
  • Local EE regulatory reporting to FSA,
  • IFRS9 accounting and compliance,
  • CRR and Basel regulation compliance,
  • Comprehensive Assessment (AQR and Stress Testing).

Senior Business Analyst will also be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the proper implementation of requirements in the Luminor systems landscape.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate business and solution requirements (incl. functional, non-functional, data) engineering process and other business analysis related activities in finance regulatory reporting area/s in their responsibility
  • Collect and analyse data requirements, technical specifications, data mapping, perform analysis on data and extract actionable insights, contribute to solution architecture, and deliver elements of design
  • Manage and maintain an overarching view on business and data requirements linked to finance regulatory reporting area/s in their responsibility
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, gather information and views, and manage linked communications to engage the Stakeholders during the requirements engineering process and other business analysis activities
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques within finance regulatory reporting area/s in their responsibility, participate in the data sourcing and procurement process
  • Work with development, release management, testing, and business delivery teams to prioritise change tickets and bring new features and functionality to successful release
  • Support Data Stewards in metadata collection and data quality activities
  • Support the development and capability building of the Business Analysis team including coaching junior members, delivery of senior management ready material and subject matter expert engagement

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

Finance regulatory reporting theory, knowledge, experience in one or several areas listed:

  • EBA supervisory reporting (FINREP, COREP, LCR, AMM, NSFR)
  • EBA disclosure reporting (Pillar 3)
  • Local EE regulatory reporting to FSA
  • IFRS9 accounting and compliance
  • CRR and Basel regulation compliance
  • Comprehensive Assessment (AQR and Stress Testing)


Business Analysis, Project Management and Business Process Management skills:

  • Experience in leading Business Analysis activities in large-scale time-constrained projects to deliver detailed and aggregated data to the Regulators in specific format (Regular or Ad Hoc regulatory exercises)
  • Experience in building new Data Warehouses and Data Marts for Regulatory processes
  • Experience in implementing external Regulatory reporting solutions in financial institutions
  • Project planning, execution, reporting and presentation of progress as well as results in a structured way; prioritization of time-critical developments


System Design, Development and Technical skills:

  • SQL skills on the level of System Analyst (data manipulation, analysis, validation, etc.)
  • SQL skills on the level of Developer (development of procedures, ETLs, etc.)
  • Design of data structures and data models on Solution Architect level
  • Design of data transformations and reporting solutions on Solution Architect/Analyst level
  • Design of data quality controls and validation tools, reconciliation reports
