Job Description
- Help the Data protection and Information security team to develop and monitor organization practices to identify new processes or material changes to existing processes and ensure implementation of GDPR requirements, also Privacy by design principles.
- Handle enquiries of data subjects and issues relating to data privacy practices, withdrawal of consent, the right to be forgotten, and related rights.
- Handle the internal data bases on data privacy (data records, technical organization measures of partners and similar).
- Participate in designated internal compliance audits, prepare the draft audit reports, take part in the risk management process
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, updating, implementing and otherwise ensure policies, procedures, guidelines, privacy notices and other privacy documentation.
- Monitor the industry landscape to keep visibility on evolutions, trends, and best practices related to Data Privacy.
- Assist with ad-hoc internal data protection tasks
- Perform other similar and related duties as required or directed
Requirements:
- Strong interest in privacy and data protection, attention to details and strong responsibility.
- Educational background in Law, Business or related. If you have some working experience with the project management, implementing processes and procedures, reporting on the progress, identifying and raising issues with the team, that's an advantage!
- Experience with data protection and privacy - knowledge of GDPR and other data protection laws - would be an advantage.
- Have knowledge of IT security in relation to data protection
- You are collaborative and able to build strong stakeholder relationships at different levels
- You always have a sense of ownership over your work, and are keen to grow and learn more
- You are a go-getter, taking the initiative to get things done
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
