Better requires process discipline and simplification

In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and quality assurance of the marketing campaigns and automated lifecycle journeys thru owned channels globally: email, SMS, web, app. Your day-to-day activities will include hands-on execution of campaigns via marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ Braze). You will be building customer segments based on defined criteria, setting up, testing, and completing quality assurance for marketing campaigns. You are expected to promote best practices with regional and local marketing stakeholders as well as constantly explore process improvement opportunities to optimize campaign efficiency and quality.

Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:

  • A university degree in a relevant field

  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing Automation, building/executing marketing campaigns (email/ SMS/ app/web)

  • Being technology orientated and capable to work with multiple MarTech tools

  • Knowledge of HTML/SQL (preferably intermediate/advanced)

  • Strong knowledge of Customer relationship management (CRM) campaign optimization and performance measurement techniques

  • A SFMC Email Specialist Certificate is a great advantage (if not in place, it will be required to complete it after joining WU)

  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks independently

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and stakeholder management abilities

  • Customer-centric thinking

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Excellent MS Excel skills

The annual gross base salary range is 25,808 – 50,354 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
