Data Analyst

Join the Analytics and BI teams at Revel! We help Revel customers make data driven decisions. As a Data Analyst you will design and implement dashboards that will be used by thousands of Revel customers.

Design intuitive star schema and wide table models that our customers will use to perform analysis
Implement performant transformations using SQL to transform data from our OLTP schema into our OLAP data models
Work with the team to help decide which customer questions/use cases we will focus on
Design data marts to serve our customer facing dashboards
Design and maintain dashboards: apply UX principles to build dashboards that bring value to our customers
Work with the squad to continuously improve our data engineering platform and processes

Have at least 2 years experience as a BI Analyst or Quality/Process Analyst
Have experience in creating and implementing BI products and dashboards
Have experience in data modelling
Are customer experience focused
Have strong analytical and logical thinking
Have excellent attention to detail
Are willing to participate in and lead customer interviews and research
Are fluent in English as we have colleagues from around the world

As a Data Analyst you have worked with a variety of tools. We don’t expect you to be familiar with all of the ones we use, of course the greater the overlap the better :)

We are currently using embedded Domo dashboards for customer reporting. Data comes from a data warehouse on AWS Redshift via federated queries. We use a variety of AWS services to feed data into our warehouse from PostgreSQL databases used by our POS platform.
