Position Summary
The Business Analyst provides business analysis and system design services to functional departments within Revel. The focus of this position is to work closely with Revel business units to gain in-depth understanding of each unit’s processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding and automating unit business processes to address business challenges.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve user support issues
Investigate and provide best approach for individual change requests
Document business and systems processes in flow diagrams
Create system documentation for system management and user training
Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; and integrating new systems and processes with existing ones
Confer with other Corporate Systems and IT personnel to determine technical solutions for systems issues
Plan and coordinate team activities to implement technical solutions
Perform testing of configured systems and solutions
Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements as well as data migrations and system integrations between different systems
Requirements:
2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Experience working with business applications where administration, testing or user support is provided
Excellent communication in English (verbal and written). Demonstrated soft skills required such as presentation of ideas and clearly articulate the concepts to business
Strong analytical thinking
Hands-on experience in system requirements and business process documentation
Experience working on application systems projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, testing (integration, user, and performance), implementation, and support
Knowledge and experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud is a plus
Experience in testing solutions is a plus
