Product Design Manager

Revel is seeking a Product Design Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Product Designer or UI/UX researcher.  As the Product Design Manager, you will lead a team of designers who are responsible for gaining customer insights and creating amazing products, make a powerful impact within a highly innovative tech company, and directly influence the experience of millions of clients and end users across the globe. You will be part of the Product Management organization working to understand the long term vision of our various products and work with your team to both provide research to guide the vision and make it tangible.

Provide leadership for product design organization including coaching and career development 
Be a product champion!  Represent the product and the product design team throughout the company
Build relationship between product designers  and the product management organization
Guide and execute UX research initiatives to help inform the product roadmap
You will manage the overall team of Product designers
Lead designers and others to produce simple, effective and compelling product designs
Apply research, analytics, and user insights to drive product direction
Drive company and product growth goals

5+ years of experience in the field of software product design
Great people skills and focus on delivery
Fluent English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interface with management and senior leadership as well as with peer-level colleagues
Strong analytical, strategic and coordinating skills
High level motivational skills so that you can also manage virtual teams
Sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology
Passion and ability to design a great user experience for POS products
Ability to generate new products, and take the idea from conception to release
