You will have vital responsibilities in our work to help prevent illegal financial activities, nationally and globally. You will   identify potential violations of anti-money laundering laws and economic sanctions and decide the course of action required. You'll be diligent, with an eye for detail to stay one step ahead of emerging patterns in illegal financial activity. This position is responsible for supporting Western Union Payment Services Ireland Limited (WUPSIL) in its regulatory compliance obligations, including the coordination of regulatory examinations by supervisory and AML regulatory authorities, coordination of AML independent reviews, external audits and third party/bank visits regarding Western Union's global compliance program. This role is the official repository of all books and records related to examination, audit and due diligence of WUPSIL's compliance programs. This position will not only have responsibility for anti-money laundering requirements for the assigned functions, but also such responsibilities will be expanded to other regulatory and compliance areas or functional programs

  • Degree-educated or having relevant financial services experience

  • Fluency in English language

  • Confident in managing and prioritizing your workload

  • Good communication, organization and project management skills

  • An analytical mind, and an understanding of the Global Money Remittances industry

The annual gross base salary range is 17,766 -26,459 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
