About Project

Coherent Solutions provides a dedicated development team that works in close cooperation with client’s development team to build features into the company’s core platform.
The project is based on the following technologies:
• Java
• Spring
• REST
• MS SQL
• MySQL
• Hadoop (hbase)
• GIT
• Active MQ (or something similar)
• Authentication frameworks (OAuth, OpenID, etc.)
• Microservices

As a JAVA Developer you will

• design, build, test, and maintain enterprise SaaS applications using Java and Spring Boot
• collaborate with the architecture team to complete designs that meet business requirements
• meet with product managers to break down ideas and user stories
• research and provide direction for technologies and frameworks to be added to our stack
• maintain quality, ensure responsiveness of applications, provide optimization guidance where necessary
• collaborate with the Sustaining Engineering team to troubleshoot production issues
• strive for CI/CD best practices
• provide retrospective after delivery to ensure continuous improvement of the team
• respond to feedback in code reviews provided by senior members of the development team

We expect you

• know object-oriented programming and data structures
• know RESTful concepts
• know DBMS concepts, including familiarity with MySQL
• know Code versioning tools, such as Git
• know CS concepts, including design patterns and multithreading.
• are Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
• have Good communications skills
• know SaaS and Enterprise Architecture concepts
• have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience
• have 3+ years’ experience in a software engineering role
• have Master’s degree in computer science (or related field) preferred
• have Analytical Thinking: The ability to grasp the underlying concepts in complex information, identify root causes of problems and formulate solutions based on a synthesis of information
• have The willingness to take a lead role in improving and enhancing the product, avoiding problems. An individual who is willing to take the initiative and to get things done and seek out additional responsibilities
• are Quality Focus: Individuals who exhibit this competency ensure that all work in one’s own area of the business, throughout the organization, by vendors, suppliers, etc. is performed with excellence and to high standards for quality and integrity.
• have good English communication skills
