Software Engineer (Angular/Java) @Retail Payments

My team is on a mission to deliver easy and efficient payment solutions to meet the needs of our corporate customers in Swedish digital channels.How are we going to fulfil our mission? 

• We will start by restructuring payment area in the corporate internet bank to meet our corporate customers needs and address their current pain points. On a back-end side we will start by contributing to deliver core payment application “backbone” which will be built on our new microservice in-house framework called Andromeda. This delivery will enable the rest of the organization to further improve payment services for our customers. It is both technically challenging and provides huge value for the rest of organization to deliver easy and efficient payment solutions in our digital channels (Internet bank and mobile apps)

About the Scorpions team:

• Team consists of five experienced and always willing to support software engineers, one quality „goal keeper”, two great business analysts and an Agile Product Owner with high focus on maximizing the value of delivery. 
• One part of team is located in Vilnius, another part in Stockholm
• The team is always focused on delivering value with high quality. We leverage data, customer feedback and UX in our daily work to address customer pain-points and needs
• We secure quality from early stages of requirement gathering, through development and up to production launch and post-production
• This is achieved by continuously refining requirements, writing unit test, code reviews, automated regression tests, controlling the launch to production, monitoring, and maintenance
• We are an open, simple, and caring team, in other words we are simply an awesome team to work with, learn and grow

Role responsibilities:

• Write clean code following best coding patterns
• Review code of others and provide feedback
• Monitor quality of delivery to production and maintain it
• Provide input to architecture solutions
• Continuously learn and share your knowledge with others
• Attend business requirements refinement meetings to secure common understanding of what is to be delivered and expectations on value to be added
• Attend sprint planning events where together with the team you will slice business requirements into technical tasks to work on
• Attend daily stand-ups whereas you will share your daily achievements and discuss impediments if any will appear
• Attend sprint retrospectives where positive contribution is acknowledged and discuss continuous improvement 

What is needed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience working with Angular or Java
• Solution oriented
• Eager to learn and share knowledge
• Team player with positive attitude
• Sharing and accepting feedback

Our technology stack:

• Front End: Angular, TypeScript, RxJs, NgRx, Nx (Nrwl Extensions)
• Back End: JEE 6/8, Java 17, Web Services, REST, Spring, Gradle
• Development Environment: GIT, RTC, Webshphere Applications Server, CloudBees, Openshift, Kubernetes
